About TMC Helpline

A compassionate addiction treatment center in Oceanside, California, dedicated to helping individuals and families find lasting recovery.

Our Story

How TMC Helpline became one of Oceanside's most trusted treatment centers

TMC Helpline was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every person struggling with addiction deserves access to high-quality, compassionate care. Our founders witnessed firsthand the gap between the treatment people needed and the care that was available to them. Too many families in Oceanside and across Southern California were left without a treatment facility that combined clinical excellence with genuine warmth. That realization became the driving force behind our treatment center.

From our first day welcoming residents through the doors at 311 Mission Ave, we committed to building a facility where evidence-based medicine meets heartfelt human connection. Our campus was designed to feel less like a clinical setting and more like a place of healing, with comfortable living spaces, sun-filled therapy rooms, and tranquil outdoor areas that take advantage of Oceanside's coastal climate.

Today, TMC Helpline stands as a full-spectrum addiction treatment center serving individuals from across California and beyond. We have grown from a small residential program into a comprehensive facility offering medical detox, residential rehabilitation, outpatient programs, and specialized dual diagnosis care. What has never changed is our founding promise: to treat every person who walks through our doors with the dignity, respect, and individualized attention they deserve.

Our Treatment Approach

Evidence-based care personalized to every individual at our Oceanside facility

Treatment Philosophy

TMC Helpline's treatment philosophy centers on individualized, evidence-based care. We believe that no two recovery journeys are alike. When a new resident arrives at our facility, our clinical team conducts a thorough assessment to understand their unique history, challenges, and goals. From there, we build a personalized treatment plan that addresses the root causes of addiction rather than symptoms alone.

Our approach integrates medical science with holistic healing practices. At our Oceanside campus, residents benefit from structured clinical programming alongside wellness activities that promote physical health, emotional regulation, and personal growth. This balanced model helps individuals develop the coping skills and self-awareness they need for long-term sobriety.

We also recognize that addiction rarely exists in isolation. Many of the people we treat at our facility are also managing depression, anxiety, trauma, or other co-occurring conditions. That is why our integrated dual diagnosis approach treats both addiction and mental health together, giving each person the best chance at a full and lasting recovery.

Treatment Modalities

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT helps residents identify and change negative thought patterns that contribute to substance use. Our licensed therapists guide clients through structured sessions in our private therapy rooms, teaching practical skills to manage triggers and prevent relapse.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT combines cognitive techniques with mindfulness practices. This modality is especially effective for individuals managing intense emotions or co-occurring conditions. Sessions take place both one-on-one and in small group settings at our facility.

Group Therapy

Group sessions at TMC Helpline foster peer support and shared accountability. Led by experienced counselors in our dedicated group therapy spaces, residents learn from one another while building the social skills essential for recovery.

Individual Counseling

One-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist allow for deep exploration of personal history, trauma, and goals. Our counselors meet with each resident regularly in private offices to ensure treatment stays on track.

Family Therapy

Addiction affects the whole family. TMC Helpline offers structured family sessions at our campus to rebuild trust, improve communication, and help loved ones understand how they can support the recovery process.

Holistic Therapies

Our holistic programming includes yoga, meditation, art therapy, and mindfulness exercises. These activities take place in our wellness areas and outdoor spaces, helping residents manage stress and reconnect with themselves.
